What are some good 6.5' speaker for quality and high volumes

Kinda depends on the slope they're using. 800hz @ -6db is gonna let a lot more lower frequencies through vs a -24db.

Anyway to run them active and use the hp off your amp?

That's if the HP filter will go that high. If you are running other speakers, I would put the 3.5's above 1000. Your 6.5's will pick up the rest below that.
