I could never fully respect a HIFONICS amp. I mean they serve their purpose and they seem to be a bang for the buck but I would rather go with a Alpine, Rockford Fosgate, JL Audio even Kicker over a HIFONICS.

 
I was planning my new build with a hifonics amp to start. Got on here and looked around ended up buying a used Sundown SAZ-2000D for $350 shipped. Picked up my amp yesterday and honestly couldn't be more happy!

Yep, at the amplifiers. I get the same 14.7 volt reading when they cutoff too.

Hifonics zxx 2400.1 stuck in protect mode. Help plz
Pull it and test it at the battery post. Simple Power up test to verify if it powers up fine out of protect mode. if it does then Id be checking...

Yes, they are painted. The cover is very easy to take off and repaint to whatever color of choice to match the install.
