seriously, i dont' make that much and my insurance was freakin $300 a month for LIABILITY ONLY. (yes i have several wrecks under my belt). but it's gonna go down a little this month.

Full coverage on me (17) secondary driver on all of our vehicles = $900 a YEAR.

Would have been $1200 if i was stupid and did monthly payments.

Also, dont be retarded and drive nice vehicles that you dont have insurance on. I hope NY isnt a no fault state because if it is you are SOL. If that happened in FL all they are guilty of is assisting you in breaking your axle and all...they arent responsible for anything, your insurance is.

i'm 21. i got my license at 18. i'm only insured to drive my car cuz i'm a "hazardous driver". btw, i'd get a quote from different companies and ask about payment plans. but remember, NY is notorious for their accidents/driving habits, not to mention cost of living is HIGHER up there than it is down here. you're also a young MALE which insurance companies have found are at higher risks of accidents/tickets.

Also, cost of living up there may be higher but so is the average pay...it kinda evens itself out.
