SCOSCHE SPL1000...has anybody done any type of comparison with a TL yet?

I picked up one of these for the hell of it tonight and was wondering if anybody knows how much it's off. I've seen several other threads started on this topic but nobody ever posts any results compared to other meters. None that I've seen anywho.

It says to meter in then center of the vehicle and I metered at the HU. I'm thinking it's low by a good bit because it read 123.9 and I know I was close to hitting closer to my old setup which was 138.8 on a TL.

If anybody has compared the 2 I would appreciate a heads up.

i've used two different boom sticks and gotten totally different results (they claim a max of 130dB, but seems like some will max out lower or higher). i don't think it's even worth it, at all. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I've heard that too....I was just wondering if there was a standard they were off by or if each one is different. If there is a standard and everybody knows what it is then this would be a cheap way to get a good estimation as to just what your system will do.

That's all I was wondering.
