Although I do respect volkswagen...the only foreign car I would consider buying.

Could they fit a set of 15s (or one)in the trunk (golf)

i dont think you would have a problem fitting 2 15"s in a golf

How do them golfs do on the highway? I don't plan on getting a turbo or anything. Just something I can drive around town in.

Get good gas mileage?

Have problems when semi-trucks pass on interstate (some lighter cars have noticable movement off the road)?

Able to cruise at 70-75?

Quickly get from 50 --> 70

As you can see, I do a lot of interstate driving.

if you want great gas mileage and a quick get up at higher speed id go with a TDI, which is diesel.

but the 2.0 is a rock solid motor, with awsome gas mileage, but is no rocket, but a great around town, road tirp car. and good pick up.

mine does great at 70-80

i test drove the VW Jetta TDI and the 2.5 and ended up getting the 2.5. The TDI is a turd IMO.

i just got a new VW GLI, and it has a huge trunk, speakers in the door, and is a blast on the highway. 31 MPG highway i believe. but the TDI is a good buy also
