heres how to make 2 D4's, run @ 2 ohm...

Originally posted by n2audio To get 1200 watts from the JBL you need to go parallel/parallel. On each sub just hook the pos's together and the neg's together with a "jumper" wire. That will make each sub 2 ohms - then just connect one vc from each sub to the amp. You'll have a 1 ohm load on the amp and you'll be getting full power from it.
Do you happen to have a picture of how to do this? I have 2 elemental k's, but i dont think they are wired like you described for the 1200 watts (i have a jbl 1200). Also, what is a jumper cable, and where can i get one? THanks a lot man

im not using this wire configuration, im using the regualr paralell 1 ohm load for my subs. Circuit city did this for a friend because that amp wasnt 1 ohm stable. The guy explained to me, but maybe i missed something.
