Hey Folks!
So I recent picked up this Pioneer sub that comes in an enclosure with and amp. I know these combo units are usually to be avoided, but super tight budget and the price was great (in CAD). Im planning to install this and a new deck on Tuesday, so I was just planning out the install after opening it up and I am a little confused how to connect the power to this sub/amp. So all of the connections to the enclosure are through the wire harness they include (see below). You may notice as I did after picking up my 8 gauge wiring kit, that the power and ground wire on this harness are MUCH smaller than the 8 gauge wire I will run from my battery (also see below). I'm just wondering if I can connect these up using a normal twist wire connector despite the size differences between the two being so great? With that, is there any danger in doing so?
