Help with tuning!

kk so face the subs towards the rear seat? and will that tuning be good for hit all bass notes (or most you know)
just the opposite face it towards the rear of the car not the seat. and yes it will hit as low as 25 hz and has a huge db gain (depending on the car) between 45-65 hz. it was designed for music.

it does have an f3 all boxes do but it will still hit audibly to 25hz depending on subs and power.

your good with this do the numbers and see for yourself //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

if it didnt how would a 3 time drive by champ do it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Look for the name Mike Stiers and eric alexander.

a box tuned to 38 dipping all the way to 25....without a -3db rolloff...thats impressively ironic..

oh boy

dd subs are real good for playing up to an octave below tuning, so if yo have a 38hz tuning then it should be good to almost 20 hz or so but in most cases its usually a better bet to go with a half octave. (about 28 hz in this case)

just my expierence with the different dd subs i have used.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

people always have diffrent results but for me, my 3510 tuned to 37-38 hz in 1.5cuft has no problem with 25hz test tones. now other brand subs, i cant speak for but the dd's seem to be ok with that.

i have had several diferent models of subs work very well down to 25hz in that design //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif hell even my brutuses will do it on 800 rms each. I have that box in the wifes minivan with 2 of them doing at least 135-140 (guesstimate based on other cars i have been next to that compete in that range) at 14 volts.

I would like to find someone in my area that has a TL to know for sure tho.

i have no problem breaking 140 with my 3510 in my s-10 on 2k+ and it is still above 137 @ 30hz and these #'s are sealed on the dash with a tl. i see some 139.9 bass race for me in the future:cool:

I may have missed it, but do you have sound deadener on the doors? If not that could be why you're lacking midbass.
