I have the Digital Design 2512a's running off an AQ 1200D and i need to build a box..

i am going to put the in a dodge intrepid (preferably facing up) it has a measurement of 18in from bottom of the trunk to top...and side to side is near 35in i believe.....i just dont know what i should tune it to...like what is preferably the best amount of hz?

(enclosed trunk)

btween 35-40 is usual DD tuning..
i have never heard these at around 30hz i wonder how they would sound?? i think they would absolutely get extremely LOW! especially if dude listens to rap

35 is about as low as needed...i've got the DD3510(well had right now its in packing to be shipped) and i've got a myxed track i did that gets down to 27 hz and is still great....so 35 is still able to get low... oh btw.. abn i've got a box designed that should fit....and only need $5 for the design....guaranteed to get the results you want.

3.531cu ft internal

38Hz tuning

¾: MDF

32” wide x 14” tall x 17.5” deep

Port = 12.5” tall x 3.5” wide

Length will be an L on either side : 12.5” deep and then 3.75” behind each sub

the port is between the subs.

in an enclosed trunk you want to try and fire the subs and port both to the back of the car, usually. I got the design from the person that currently holds the world record for the loudest trunk car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif those of you that are competitors know who he is pretty well i would guess //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

imo, i have found that a 35-38hz tuning works really great for most dd subs.

my 2510 was tuned to 38hz

the 3510 that iam currently using is tuned to 37hz and the 1508 thats in my ava is tuned to 37 as well and both have absoultly no problems getting the "low" notes.

its 4 cubes tuned to 35 hz...sub and port up...
not to sure bout that bro...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

how wide is the port and how tall is the box?
