Help with sub choice

Ok, this Audiobahn 10" isn't cutting it on my Hifonics BX1500D, it's ok....but like ***** ok. I need a good list of recomendations for sub/s for this amp, i have enough room for 2 12's, but have NO idea how to build a box nor the equipment, is there a good online resorce for custom tuned boxes or should i just get that from a local audio shop and bring them specs *box specs for the subs recomended would be GREATLY appreciated* a setup that ends up with a 1ohm load is prefered as this amp pushes 1500w rms @1ohm, 1000w rms @2ohms and 500w rms @4ohm. Please help me out, any offers from ppl who have something to sell that would fit my setup would be appreciated too. Thanks in advance.

Aubiobahn isn't garbage its just that amp is probably to big for what you got and its sounds terrible. Look at Treo or RE, Adire, Orion H2, DD, Etc

well, it doens't sound like crap, it's just not all that loud :-/, and you guys forget, i know nothing of those company's(not what those short names actually mean as far as trying to find a place to buy them...), any models better than others?

Sealed? Well their is your problem bahns are made to be ported they are all made for spl applications. If its not loud its because its sealed.

You need to port I bet you will get a 3-5db gain maybe even more porting it.

Try porting that sub, i think you will get better results out of that sub.

THUNDA WAIT IT IS YOUR BOX, your sub is made for ported boxes, get a slot ported box tuned around 45hz (or lower) and your subs will pound. Go to audiobahn.com and click tec support and click BOX parameters. and search for your Flame Q sub and find a box on ebay that will suit it. Most audiobahns love big ported boxes tuned low.

Try that, if that is still not enough, add more subs (12s) until your windshield blows, back end sags, or your ears are ringing. I was driving down the road and a fire truck came up behind me lights and sirens going, couldnt hear it (Lil John playin) and couldnt see it, all mirrors were pointing down! That is bass!
