help with soldering

and its not real hard to remove solder with the iron.. and you dont have to drop the freekin board like whats his face said. sheesh

The solder wick (braid) works better than any ******* tool I have used for removing solder. The heat and tap method works too and it won't hurt the board or the components on it. Of course, you don't really have to remove the solder to replace the component. If you are quick with the iron you can heat it and slide the legs of the component through it.
