Weight Of jl 500/1

Any one know the weight of the 500/1, i dont have a scale and its a lot of work to get it out of my car to find out just the shipping price of it.

I just shipped one and the weight listed on the tracking info is 13.40 Lbs.

That's the box and packing material and er'ything.

shoot, those things are fairly heavy for that size amp. i have never weighed one, but i would have though it would be at least 13-14 lbs for just the amp. ha, i am shipping a 1000 watt velodyne plate amp today that weighs only 2-3 lbs.

My JL 300/4 is just under 15 pounds for the amp itself, and i think the 500/1 and 300/4 are the same heatsink.

i had three of them all lines up in my old setup. two 500/1s and one 300/2.

i shipped a ampman revo and i got the shipping invoice and it said 17 pounds i was like wtf
