im trying to repair my amp, the power terminal that connects to the circuit board has come off, the thing is the little holes that the pins from the power terminal go into are filled with solder //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
i heat up my gun and it has a point i stick it right in the hole hoping the solder will simply melt and drip out but it dosent, it just solidifys back in place blocking the hole, ive tried everything to try and get it out but i cant with a hobby knife + soldering iron or a pick... i was thinkin mayby a very small bit drill just to drill out the solder but i dont want to mess up the circuit board
is there any tricks to get solder out of tricky areas ? its a very small hole mayby 2-3 millimeters, but the pins on the power terminal must fit in and then be soldered from the backside of the board
