Help with new 6x9's!!

Yes sir I am. I bought them as a Junior in high school so I didn't have much experience as the best subs/amp to get. I just went off people's word and recommendation.

Is there any particular subs and/or amp combo that you'd recommend? Or even a good price to ask for on my current subs and amp? They're both in great condition and the only problem is their age, but I haven't pushed them too hard over the years.

There's a lot of good brands. My best advice is to ask around here before you make any decisions. Me personally, only thing I would keep from your current system is the head unit. I'm not trying to diss because Accords are great and my next car will be a newer Accord, but since your car is a 99 I know you don't wanna go spending thousands on a system. You can sell your stuff, then use that money towards another build. I really can't give you an estimation of how much your system is worth without seeing pics. If you wanna send some pics to me and a few other members around here that would be willing to give you a good estimate on how much you should ask for, please do so. There's a lot of us around that like to help people out.

I completely understand and everyone around here has been quite helpful. So pretty much I should go with the Boston 6x9's for sure. As for 12's, I've recently came across the Orion HCAA 12 inch subwoofer. It looks like just one would be good enough, but that's really planning ahead. I can definitely take some pictures of my current system and send them so you can have a better idea of their condition and what not.

Yeah, send me some pics and I'll do my best to give you an estimate. The guy that recommended you the Boston Acoustics (@princ3cmo) is another helpful guy you should send some pics to. Forget that Orion, Orion products are not as good as they used to be when your uncle was coming up. I can name a few single 12"s off top that would kill both of those Audiobhans if powered and enclosed properly. When you get to the point at which you're ready to start building, we will help you out. But for now, those Boston speakers are great choices. If you have the money right now, I would buy a set for the doors also. Front stage(front speakers) is more important than rear stage(rear speakers). If you can't afford to buy some of those Boston's for your doors right now, put that on the list as the next purchase to make.
