Hello and good day. I was wondering what 6x9's are great for the money that would also compliment my current setup well? I'm not looking to spend too much, under 70, since I'm currently a student and I don't have a ton of money to throw around. I've read before that Almani's were good, but just as I found a new pair buy it now on ebay for both 29.99 and 39.99 they've disappeared.

My current 6x9's are blown and I'm trying to find a new pair on ebay or a speaker site with cheap shipping. My setup is included in my signature which should help a lot.

Pretty sure the G-series speakers u have are the lowest Pioneer line. The Boston SEs will be a step ahead for sure. They have an easily attainable natural sound for the price. They get loud very easily too.

You could also spend a little more and go with D-series 6x9s from Pioneer. Those will be a step up from the Boston SEs. They won't get as loud as easily but the midbass was stronger in my experience with a much warmer sound.

It sounds like the Boston's are the way to go. My Pioneer 6x9's were 79.99 new I believe. For some reason, the two front speakers stopped working which I'm sure they arent blown and the back right blew I'm sure of. I made the moronic mistake of still listening to it on only one working 6x9 in the left rear and well, the burning smell wasn't a good sign as it was WAY too much power going to only one speaker. Now its very static-like and won't go past volume 12 or 13 before it ceases to produce sound.
