its a mono block amp but it appears to have two speaker outputs? the image in the manual just shows to hook it up to the first + and - output. im just wondering why iot has two if its only a mono

its got two sets of (+) and (-) terminals to wire a pair of subs to it. they're connected internally, so it's not necessary to connect both sets. it's also unnecessary to connect the (+) on one and the (-) on the other.

Yeah, it's just so you don't have to try and shove 2 pairs of 14guage+ wires into a single terminal, just makes things easier.
