Cooling fans no work? Alpine

My Alpine MRV-F545 gets hot over the course of play (about 170 degrees) and I shut my HU off because I don't want to overheat it. The cooling fans have never come on ever. This worries me. The amp is hooked up correctly and all speakers are wired correctly.

Any idea what the problem is?
