help with head unit

[mecaspl151 10+ year member]

my old head unit is 2 volts preouts my new one has 4v peramp outs do i need to redo my gains they were set with a dmm with my old jvc they are set the same as with the 2v cd player but the new one with 4v outs is way louder but i dont here any clipping or smell coils getting warm so should i just leave it the way it is thanks any help please
