I went on a diet and started excercising pretty hardcore lately.
Late last year I went on a diet, still eating regular foods, just a little less. I didnt eat fast food, didnt completely stop with soda, etc. Just changed it a little. Over like 2 months I lost about 20lbs.
After a while, this stopped helping like it was at first (obviously). Then I lost motivation, and started going back to eating whatever... Big meals on the weekends, soda whenever, huge late night snaks (Frisco Melt with Chili/Waffle House doesnt help).
2 Months ago I went to Drs office that does diet regimes. They give you appetite suppresants so you arent super hungry, and a Vitamin B12 shot once every couple weeks, just to help burn a little extra fat. Anyways, its more like an Atkins thing, with little to no carbs.
I eat 4 oz of ham in the morning, 2 fat free hotdogs (no buns) in the afternoon, then 4 oz of either beef, chicken, shrimp, or fish for dinner. Luckily Im able to put all the ketchup I want on anything. If I get hungry throughout the day at all or for a quick snack at night Ill have like 2 small apples or an orange or a small Jello.
In the last 7-8 weeks Ive lost about 52lbs... And with the 20lbs I lost at first, its a total of about 72lbs since November or so. Thats without any hardcore excercising or anything. I just go for a 45 minute walk every day through my neighborhood. Sometimes Ill lift some weights too for the hell of it.
Im usually 6'5, 6'6 on a good day, and went from about 310lbs to 238 in not much time at all, and still losing it pretty quickly, about 5lbs a week. Just stick to it and dont cheat and you will lose all the weight in no time at all.
