LG Musiq for swimmers?

Apparently LG's Musiq, a cell phone geared towards music fans, stands pretty well against water! Today I accidentally got in the pool with it for like five minutes and when I got out the phone was vibrating horribly and the little red light was flashing, but after letting it dry out for an hour or two it started right back up ^_^... My LG chocolate did the same thing but just never stopped vibrating..Still worked if you didnt mind the vibration while on the phone.

my Muziq was under $99. My nextel i880 was $399. So, imo, the muziq isnt expensive. I do love it tho. Very durable for its size.

When I bought my musiq it was 210 if I remember correctly. Either way, there's no insurance on the phone. Even if there was water damage isn't covered. And to think I have a job in the pool industry ^_^

Haha... yeah the pH was so incredibly high I had scale formation on the LCD display of the phone -.-

Nah, enough about work on Memorial day.... I got that tomorrow. BTW, DBFan, where do you work? I work at Vaughan Pools and Spa in Lake Ozark, MO.

Well that's cool... Does "Pinch a Penny" mainly handle supplies/chemicals/etc... or do they do maintenance, service, construction? Vaughan Pools sells the chemicals, motors/pumps/filters, -- basically anything that is required and/or desired on a pool. i dropped my musiq in the water not long ago... i just took it out, removed the batt. let it all dry out, worked like new

Pinch a penny sounds like a broke man's answer to pooling... Just doesn't sound right for a company geared towards the pooling industry. Because just as everything else in the world, quality pooling will only get more expensive as the economy crumbles. Hell, service work at our place is $80/hr. Stupid insane markup :|

I understand the concept... maybe they should implement the idea in gas prices, health care, etc. lol
