Not sure what speakers and amps for those but will be getting that aswell.

I have a 120 amp stock alternator. I can get it built up for cheap. What amperage should I get it to.

Should I grab a second battery for the trunk or will that be fine. Thanks

So, anyone want to help with the alt? All I need to know is how to figure out what size. I've read to just add up the fuses on the amps and do some division and multiplication and quantum physics to figure it out. But if I have a 120 amp alternator and say my system draws 180 amps does that mean I need a 200 amp alternator?

If your system consistently draws 180 amps. You probably need more like a 250amp alt.

If you get it built up, just go as big as you can afford? No harm in over doing it and it leaves room for upgrades.

I have someone that will be able to build the alternator up to whatever it can fit. Its a dodge intrepid 120 amp alternator. How do you know what will fit in there. Will this hurt anything at all if I hook it up. I don't see how it would but just want to be careful.

I have no clue what that car can fit?

Will what hurt anything? If you hook up that amp and draw 1500w from it with your current alternator you're probably going to hurt your battery.

I kinda meant is there a limit to how much amperage an amp can be bumped up to or will you eventually need a bigger case. And also if I hook up a 250amp alternator up to my car it shouldn't hurt anything because everything is only going to draw what it needs from it, correct?

Idk the first part. Whoever is doing it will tell you.

You're correct about the second part. The ability to produce more amps won't hurt your car.
