I am trying to build the maximum size box that will fit behind the rear seat of my caravan. I have two 12L7's/Dual 4ohm and a KX1200.1 amp. The pic below is an idea I came up with but I don't know jack about designing a box. The construction of the box is no problem, I make furniture. It's cuft, port sizes, etc that has me baffled. Could someone tell me if the design I have is ****, needs to be bigger, or whatever.
Each chamber is about 1.6 cuft. 13" square and 16.5 long. The ports are 2.5" wide. Basically the subs will point to the sides of the van, this is necessary to get the cross section of the box to fit in the space behind the seat. The port can go up, or front or back. I know it shouldn't go down but that is how the drawing shows it right now.
I hope the drawing is attached.
Thanks.
