Help wiring my new setup

Just got this Sundown SAE 1200d off ebay for 205$, think it was a good deal?

Its going to power the 2 12'' kicker cvr subs I just bought. They're 4 ohm dual coils.

How do you guys think I should wire them to the amp? (400 rms per sub//200 per coil)

I've got a 75x4 ea4100 eclipse amp powering my cabin speakers, with 4g wire//8g speaker wire. Do you think i need wire that big?

Do you think I should keep that wire or use it for my sundown amp and get 8g wire for the amp and just keep the 8g wire to the speakers?

If not, what gauge wire should I use for the sundown amp?

Also, I just bought a 140 amp h/o alternator (215$ off ebay).

Right now I have stock wiring, what gauge wire should I use for the BIG 3?

Well wire the subs to 1ohm and just keep your gain turned down. if i was you i would get a 1/0 awg dual amp kit (Knuconceptz=$109) and it comes with the distro blocks so you will have 4awg to both amps. and for the Big3 use 1/0awg.

4 g to power main amp.

8 g to power subs

8 g to power small amp.

10-16g to power cabin speakers

0g run along stock wire under the hood

sub+---------sub+-----------amp+

sub- ---------sub- -----------amp-

Speaker wire 8ga wow.. 8ga on subs maybe but not on front stage speakers. 12-18ga is kool IMO Partsexpress.com has a really great sale on some good speaker wire right now.

Also 4ga is good to power the Sundown but i would go ahead and hit it with some 1/0 just in case u want to upgrade in the future.

For the Big 3 throw 1/0 at that also.

Plenty being sold right now check the classifieds area. and u will have to go measure what u need for the big 3 your self unless u find someone with same car that can tell u what they did.

but u will need enough to do..

did u not read my post at all? and get about 10ft, 15ft if its in a truck. better extra wire than too short. and remember dont take out the stock wire. run it along with it.

Well he could remove stock wire but its just unnecessary work.

yep.... every every bit helps cause they say power only flows on i think 2/3 of the wire. Like in My case i could have removed it cause it was all in the way i just decided to Mod the stock.
