help wiring 4x10's into 86 suburban

ok well i went and baught some cheap-o 4x10's to replace my already blown speakers

i took them out of the box (x-plore 400 watt xr-4x10) and they had all the wires and shit but no instructions and on the speakers themselves there were no distinguishing marks for positive and negative

i took out the stock 4x10s in the suburban and their wires were both blue , so i have no idea how to tell between positive and negative????

also the connector points are different but i figure i can just strip the wires and tie em together or solder them or electrical tape or something

also these speakers are 4 ohms and im going to just replace them, i assume factory gmc suburbans are 4 ohms also, btw this is a 1986 diesel suburban

upon closer look at the factory speakers, there is a A and a B above both wires but i still dont know which is neg or pos, and also on the new speakers the mounts where the wires tie into one is thin and long, the other is fat and shorter

thin\long = neg

fat\short = pos

not how i like my women- but eh. (thin\short hehe //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif )

you can hook them up eaither way, but i would guess

a= pos

b= neg

use a multimeter to test it out, should quite simple really.
