Currently i have an 8 gauge power wire running to the trunk of my civic.(i ordered a 4 gauge kit and plan on changing it as soon as it comes in)

Originally i paid someone to do it but i think it is pretty easy considering the rca and remote wire is all ready.

I would just need to run new power wire 4 gauge and and ground.

My question is what amp would be good to push these 2 alpine type r's.

I bought them on craigslist today for 150 with a ported box i dont know much about subs....i think i got a good deal?

Dont you mean 1223d?OP i need to know the ohm impendance on your subs to determine what amp can push them.Do you have a digital multimeter to get the ohm reading on your subs?

Or he could get an apsm1500 for half the price //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
