i was in shock after the crash, and while i was on the stretcher they asked me if i had recently done any drugs/used any street stuff and i thought it might be important information in how they treat me. i wasn't really thinking at the time after being thrown against the windshield

will the insurance company look into the medical report even if the accident was her fault? witnesses that were there also said it was her fault. she got the ticket from the police officer. they're not going to look into the doctor's notes are they?

One cannot predict...but if you keep your trap shut you should be fine. Worry once something is admitted into evidence at trial or if they are trying to prove it was your fault and not pay any claims. Relax...and dont do drugs anymore.

This information can be given to law enforcement under subpoenas or court order. Don't fool yourself. If they had suspicion that info would be legally obtained quickly. Don't kid yourself. They'd get a depo from the doctor so fast, it would make your head spin. However, there is nothing he has provided in the story that says they have suspicion, nor is this that big of a deal for them to waste time and resources on.

yes, your insurance company will want a medical report copy. Like I said, If you claim injuries, they want to be prepared. My wife works in the fraud department of a large national insurance company. Yes, they will request a copy. First they will mail you a packet of info to fill out, In that packet is a release form. Sign it and they get the records, dont sign it and get denied. Its your Choice.
