Help Tuning XX-Hercules

Well, i dont know much about all of the options on this amp heh. Thought i would go ahead and ask and get to know what i can before i just start spinning the knobs and seeing what happens.

Anyways, heres whats there:

Impedance (47k - 0.6k)

Level (9v - 0.2v)

Subsonic (10hz - 50hz)

Low Pass (35hz - 250hz)

Bass Boost (0db - 18db)

Bass EQ (30hz - 60hz)

Q Control (wide - narrow)

Phase Shift (0 - 180 degrees)

If anyone could point me in the direction to figure all of these out, or help me with some info, that would rock...

okay. Wasnt planning on using the boost knob either, so thats perfect heh.

so far ive gotten:

Bass Boost = useless: 0db

Subsonic: Around 25hz (correct me if im wrong, but thats about right for a 33hz box isnt it?)

Low Pass: 80hz

Level, Set with a multimeter

Subsonic, around 20-25

Low Pass, 80-100

Bass Boost, 0 if possible

Bass EQ, around your peak freq if you use bass boost

Q control, dont know what the hell that did

Phase Shift, 0 unless you invert the sub

still need to figure out what to do with Impedance and Q Control, or at least know what each of them actually are/do hehe. And One Bad MOFO, if im not using my bass knob, does it make a different for the Bass EQ? how do i figure out what my peak frequency is? Should i just play with it and see what sounds good?
