theres no way that dual box was 4 cubes, remeber these are duals were talking about

he is putting them in a ported enclosure instead of the bandpass. it should be much bigger ported.

edit: a decent bandpass would be bigger as well, but dual puts them in a small fart box to extend the life of their subs. it's business.

but with a bandpass box you can have a smaller box and be very peaky in certain frequncies. say 40hz-50hz

and if he does have those 12's in a 2 cube box its no wonder they dont sound good
