Help on wiring ohms on amp

Guys i need help what happens if u you wire an impedence lower than wat is stable for instance i got 2 type r's 4+4 dvc b4 i thought i could get 2ohms out of them but then i read stuff and it said either 1ohm or 4ohm which sucks cuz i think going 4 would be safer for my amp but i wont get to give them enough power. At 2ohms it wouldve been 450rms but now its gonna go down to 300rms or lower i guess at 4 ohms what should i do btw its on a ca1200 profile amp

Wire it at 4 ohms and bridge it at the amp.
