I have 2 Kicker CVR 4 ohm DVC subs, and a Lanzar Vibe 1200 watt amp. I want the most pound i can get without blowing anything. How should I wire my subs?
wat?Instead of wiring both subs to one channel, can I wire the subs as shown above, but wire each sub seperate and bridge them?
technically the same thingI whipped this up in paint real quick. Sorry for the sloppyness

the image you posted is wired in series.....you would have an 8 ohm load per driver, then paralleled at the amp would be 4ohm load. That wouldn't be much power from the amp.I had it like that on my old Ultraliener amp though and it blew it. I hooked up the Lanzar like that last night, and it blew the fuses. So a friend wired it like this ---> http://img177.imageshack.us/my.php?image=53228489xk6.png and it dosent pound hard at all. I currently have it bridged and wired how my friends did it. So when i wire it like the image that n2audio posted, it will pound???
get all the settings correct on the amp and you shouldn't have any problems....what size power and ground are you running?I had it wired like n2 posted at first, and when i put power to the amp, the fuses in the amp blew instantly. Im just afraid they would blow again.
