help on sub choice (3500 watts to work with)

alright i am planning to pick up an audioque 3500d and i want to run dc woofers ......i want to spend 600 on subs......should i get 2 15 lvl 4s or 1 18 lvl 5.....also does the lvl 5 18 have a 12 spoked basket .....thanks

they r rated at 1000 but they r know for taking way more than that

i know its install dependant but would a lvl 5 18 on a 3500d be louder than 2 lvl 4 15s on a 2200d

from what ive seen the lvl 4 xl 10 is 350 12 is 370 so 15 shhould be like 390-410, i think the 2 15" lvl 4s would probly be the loudest

i would do the lvl 4 15s just don't clipp the amp..

why not just pick up 2 15 HDC3s along with that AQ amp

Would you be opposed to buying used? I'm sure you can find some lv4s with the upgraded lv5 coils for a good price. Then you wouldn't have to worry about overpowering them.
