Help my sub won't hit high notes

Exentualy I'm going to get a cvx but at the time I didn't know any better
cvr's lack greatly on higher frequencies and punch. tried them in like 3 or 4 enclosures and no punch. they seemed to drop off fast in the 40s not ideal for the rock/classic rock listener which i do at times. i personally think the comps have better all around sound. i try to stay away from kicker all together though. not a fan of them anymore. they used to make some awesome subs back in the day. love my os kicker seperates 18s. ran two os 18s and put ya some floyd or metallica in and it felt like someone was kicking you in the back on the drums. for that price range you can have bnib american bass tnt 10s for $101 shipped to your door.

Awesome thanks I've heard that JBLs were good are they?
Decent low powered Sound quality subwoofers in my opinion.Im sure there are a couple heavy hitters made, but I havent messed with JbL since 96,not sure if they have excelled much since then/made any changes since then, but you can still get better subs for the cost of most jbl subs im sure
