I was not reffering to that..It was actually a Real Stupid Statement I saw the other day someone made about the work they had put into thier system...A little pretentious in my mind so I put that

I do not believe THE PRICE YOU PAY DICTATES SOUND...But I don't believe you can buy crap and use your "MAGIC" to make it sound amazing..it's kinda complicated but my last post speaks for itsef..Hell I spent $477 and I got 3 ARC amps and a Pioneer DEH-P9400MP..so I am not a fan of BIG BUDGET sytems..anyone can get that..But sometimes you gotta give EXCELLENT components more than 5% credit and cannot give your "skills" 95% credit for a 148dB rating..

i have never... EVER seen a girl that hates bass, old stuckup ladies not gettin any dick dont count.

I knew that was coming....Not actual bass as in a dictionary definition..they hate BASS as in SPL competition...

If you tell a Guy who has a POUNDING attention getting system that a girl doesn't like BASS it takes away all his concepts that chicks get wet when you turn up the volume when you drive by..kinda like how Whistling at chicks TOTALLY turns them on and works to attract them even more right??????

Yea..When Girls are in my car they insist on turning the BASS up to 10 and volume full blast and listening to DMX????

No..most chicks do not like "BASS"...most don't like Football, beer or Repairing thier own car..better make sure that chick isn't a man if she craves 2 15" subs in her convertable VW Rabbit..those BIATCHES want Flowers,Wine and Dave Mathews Crap...

spl comps maybe... i know mine would probably go if i asked if she wanted to. not many people out here even have systems that are even worth going to a comp so we have one like maybe every couple months at like 3am out in the way of nowhere... but yes she likes it loud, not quite sure how loud, but loud

jennifer fine as in who... everyones tastes differ, me personally, i like laid back chicks that dont talk like "omg wow like awesome"

my girl will drink beer w/ me. and about the spl thing. . . it's weird. she hates it in my car. "it to loud, and there's no reason for it to be that loud" but when i had my set up in her car, it was fine, she love being able to turn it up all the way.

WOW..I was just using Generalizations...Not Specific references..

Whatever ..you know What I mean....Alot .....but not all Girls will whine and complain if you turn up the BASS in your car,,I sure as hell did not mean to implicate they do not literally like BASS as a musical note???Girls hate LOUD NOISES in General!!!

My Girl drinks NEWCASTLE,,I drink Cheap Budweiser..So obviously there are diffrent scenarios..But lets be honest.."THE TYPICAL GIRLS DOES NOT WANT TO SIT IN YOUR CAR BLASTING BASS".

JELLYFISH IS RIGHT....I have heard that line a million times "It's too loud, why do you play it so loud"..and I don't even think it's that loud anyways..If you have a chick who loves it Real loud then more power to you..but thats not common

Well, well. I'm lucky and my girl loves bass. She likes the end product of both mine...and her system. She hates the time it may take to tweak and design a system b/c it is boring to her and she doesn't understand the intricacies (sp?) of installation and design. Although, she loves my system and what i've done to her jeep as well. I'll let you know what it all started out with.

Original system in my g/f's jeep May '04 for her birthday:

Alpine 7894 (already installed, parents previously owned it.)

-CDT cl-6x (front, $45)

-CDT cl-5x (rear, $45)

-Hifonics eagle 4x45 watt rms amp ($70)

-2 re8's ($80 shipped)

-Profile Clarus 600m ($70 shipped)

-Box custom built by me...2 cubes total...FREE!!!

-Wiring, left over from 5 million other installs...FREE!!! (could get a 8awg or 4 awg from walmart for $18-25)

So grand total of $310!!! And that's for a COMPLETE, bumpin system.

Just installed as of last night (for year anniversary):

-U.S. Acoustics 4065

-JBL 600.1

-2 MORE re8s

So, she has 4 re8's in 2 cubes @35hz w/ over 600 watts rms....some good coaxials getting 65rms! AND, a good alpine cd player. Shit, her system is pimp...and she's thrilled about it. All her little girlfriends are SOOOO envious too...all of them are askin me how much for some 8's, a 10, or a 12 are installed....lol. You should seen the look on here face when she heard the four 8's....it was beautiful! peace

Shopping around, and as stated... FS/Classifieds on numerous forums. It's good to haggle also, get the lowest price u can...sometimes let the people know what it's for... like say it's a present for your girl and they might understand. BTW, the profile clarus 600m is for sale!!!! WOOT WOOT! peace!

p.s. my girl also drive a jeep grand cherokee limited! BIG upgrade from the stock infinity system....lol...it has a FANTASTIC stock amplifier....could be used better as a **** wheel chock block...lol

i am setting up a girl's system and i take her to school and work every day. she bought (sub from d&b sales)....

12" Audiobahn Excursion (i think)... lol its at her house so i wont know till i install it.

the jbl amp she got from her brother. i dont know how loud this will get although i imagine it wont b that loud. she wants to put it in a sealed box because she wants better sq. and she listens to r&b / rock so it will hit alot cleaner too. she said she likes loud bass (like my car =)) but she doesnt like all the rattling that comes with it so i dont know if i will have to keep the gain down or what.

sealed is not always cleaner. ported is definatly louder, and the rattling, has nothing to do with the box its in.
