Well a buddy and I attempted to install all of my sh*t. We did an ok job, but for some reason nothing worked properly. I finally gave up after a week of scratching my head.

I gave the car to my cousin who owns an audio shop. (he's the one that got me parts too). Of course he had to make some fun of our frankenstein job (I would do the same) He then said, leave this to the professionals. So I did since I didn't need the car b/c I was going to Chicago. I came back and the car was all done. His shop did a great job. If you need a performance/ audio shop and you willing to travel to the border of Bayonne and Jersey City, let me know and I'll give you his information.

Well here is the install. As he calls is a "stealth install" I like it b/c it looks like stock, but sounds 10,000X's better. I definitly should have given him the car in the first place and saved myself a headache.

Here's the seperate sub knob

It's only a 10" ported box and it really booms. I turned it up quite a bit and to my surprise, the trunk didn't rattle at all. There is no dynomat at all. I'm sure it would sound better if I deadened it, but I'll leave it for now.

Now that I have it all done, I'm very happy. I gotta keep it down though, cause I'm giving myself a headache cause I have it so loud! Comments welcome. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryexcited.gif.c26a15f316d23068607f36ddacd7a7ab.gif

what amp is that? i have the 1100d, but im missing my knob =(

you have any idea where i can get one =)

anyway. it does look nice, aside from the carpet on the side of the amp comming up a little bit. i have almost the same setup, but i have a seperate amp for my comps, and im using a RE 10" sub instead (and im building my ported fiberglass enclosure at the moment)

the amp is the Directed 450d5. As for the knob, I'm not sure. I bet you could get one direct from the manf. if you inquired.

Thanks for the positive comments. I like my set up. It's loud and clean. I gotta stop playing it so loud when I'm in it.

wow...looks great!....glad to see it cause im supposed to do a very simular install on a 199? civic...i was gunna mount the amp(s) on the back seat as well but hadnt looked into it that much..glad to see it "can" be done..did it to my cavalier and loved the simplicity of it(amp, backseast)....great job!
