Help me build a groundpounder.

ditch the optima. go to sams club. they have duracell group 31hd batts for $140.00 each. get a 31 for the rear and get the group 24hd for under the hood w/ pac 200 isolater between. be sure to ground the rear batt. to the frame of the vehicle(unless car is unibody). these batts are built by east penn(same company that builds deka)

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, i'll let you know what i'll end up getting.. got the big *** battery and the 0 gauge out of the way though, gonna have to be patient and save up some money before everything is actually ready though.

I have... more interested in upgrading my electrical not buying XCONS or a SAZ3000d. What are the specs of the northstar batteries?

I'm a fan of Kinetik but XS makes some good stuff too. I dk how big your battery size is now but if you can fit one under the hood, I would do that on top of another in the trunk (I personally know I can fit a KHC-1800 under the hood with no mods and possibly a KHC- 2000 in my explorer). 1/0 KnuKoncepts, Audiotechnixs or American Bass wiring would be fine and run a big 3 upgrade. That should be fine if you don't plan to run over 2k rms without upgrading alt.

I can only fit a D35 under the hood, and the terminals have to be reversed because the accessory cables don't reach to their respective terminal on normal batteries. I already have the big 3 done in Cadence 0 gauge.
