Help installing CDT speakers in Civic

hey guys, i bought these pimp *** CDT 6.2 150 watt rms speakers for my sound project for my civic.. but the depth of them is pretty **** install compared to my stock POS speakers. I tried buying spacing to give some room, but they didnt fit about the speakers brace things. i need about an inch of depth.... they just dont fit in!. anyone got any ideas? look at the picture for what im talking about! thnx!

you can cut circles out of mdf and use it as an adpater

it is fiberboard, you can use plywood or particle board. you can get it at orchard, home depot, etc.

MDF-Medium Density Fiberboard. The stuff the cabinets in you kitchen are probably made of. For that kind of application, plywood works just as well. Cut rings for the speaker and mount the speaker to the ring, then screw the ring to the door panel.
