im running a fosgate p450.4..trying to push some alpine type x's and some mtx mids..both of these components are rated at 4ohms..@half gain the amp goes in to protect mode when the type x's are hooked up, but does nt do it for the mtx's..the type x's do require a bit more power but @ 4ohms the amp should push them fine at 75w rms...also for some reason the "right" channels sound louder & are the one's that cause it to go into protect...the left sounds lifeless & crappy. Took an ohm meter to the amp & the right channels shw abt 2-3ohms & left abt 6ohms...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif i tried everything so far //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/*******.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif other than changing the ground, but even then will that cause the amp to show a different ohm reading?....im i wiring the type x's wrong for this amp? thx for any help/feedback..

each tweeter & sub show 3ohms each but they are rated @ 4ohms & figured the xover compensated to for ohms..

i did forget to mention the it plays fine at low level with no clipping but when turned up goes into protect.
