HELP!!fosgate amp-alpine type x

im running a fosgate p450.4..trying to push some alpine type x's and some mtx mids..both of these components are rated at 4ohms..@half gain the amp goes in to protect mode when the type x's are hooked up, but does nt do it for the mtx's..the type x's do require a bit more power but @ 4ohms the amp should push them fine at 75w rms...also for some reason the "right" channels sound louder & are the one's that cause it to go into protect...the left sounds lifeless & crappy. each tweeter & sub show 3ohms each but they are rated @ 4ohms & figured the xover compensated to for ohms..

i did forget to mention the it plays fine at low level with no clipping but when turned up goes into protect.

anyone?...could it be that its nt getting at least 12volts?
