Help choosing.

Aero, reason being- they are far more efficicent imo. Check out my most recent box build for an example of how a true aero box should be built (special piece inside the box)
The end result was 142.5 sealed on the dash out of the trunk on 1.4k before rise, stock electrical, no deadening on some 6yr old sq subs, oh and the box was tuned to 31.75hz. What I'm saying is there is plenty of room for improvement and I'm already close to what other people doing with more power and higher tuning with stronger equipment.

i just am a strong believe in slots myself. but. aeros i have givin chances time and time again. they let me down once and i never went back.

How have they let you down? A large percentage of my builds use pvc ports, and I have always have good experiences with them. My old daily box had actual aeros and I had trouble getting them to seal properly, I think thats how my current box gained at least 2.4db over the last one with the external aeros.

for some reason i just am not good with them .im a great designer in slots/4th orders but when it comes to aeros i cant seem to get it dialed in i guess. hell i may be good at aeros and not know it its been so long since i did an aero box.

Try doing an enclosure with pvc, its far less expensive, then when you feel more comfortable, switch to a real aero.
