its simple. i was trying to make it simple but now we shall get into the discussion i didnt lol

subs xfl 12s 2 of them in a trunk wall car 1997 acura cl 3.0

max space is 5.4 cubes. power 2k. bumping it to 4k.

i would be 2 hz higher than i need to be and a lil more port than needed.

4 4" aeros would be the same port area as a single 8".

I kinda have both slot and aero in my car now. I have 2 6" firing sideways into a loading wall that looks like a slot.

i juust realized how stupid i was. i was looking at 3 4's not 4 4's lulz.... but yeah single 8 may do but fitting it on the face will be hard, i only have 32 wide.

Aero, reason being- they are far more efficicent imo. Check out my most recent box build for an example of how a true aero box should be built (special piece inside the box)

The end result was 142.5 sealed on the dash out of the trunk on 1.4k before rise, stock electrical, no deadening on some 6yr old sq subs, oh and the box was tuned to 31.75hz. What I'm saying is there is plenty of room for improvement and I'm already close to what other people doing with more power and higher tuning with stronger equipment.
