I am going to be purchasing a completely new audio system for my 2000 Camaro, it has 6.5" door and sail panel speakers and 4" hatch. I was thinking about getting a 5-channel amp to power the doors and sails, and put a sub in trunk. I'm open to more suggestions than just my own, my pockets are NOT bottomless, I think i offered a comparison of a high and low priced item on each section with similar features, please tell me what's best for the price. Is it possible to power the 4" with the regular HU while all 6 preamp outs are going to amp or does one shut off when the other is used?
another question, can you run 4 ohm speakers and run a 2 ohm speaker on the 5th/sub channel?
Is there somewhere to go that tells you the depth of your car speaker cavities? how will i know they will fit?
