At what wattage do i need to have a Cap???

You never need a cap. Ever.
Install it with atleast a quality 4awg wire. Do the big 3. You should be fine.
This ^

There is no other discussion needed in this thread. Caps are not needed. Like this gentleman said, install it with some good quality wire and it will be 100% fine.

Textbook example of "group think".

Quality caps work for their intended purpose; filter noise & stabilizing voltage. Where they get a bad rap is from the cheap chicom capacitors that are nothing more than a voltage meter & people expect huge gains in output with them. Caps do not work with sine sweeps or any drawn out bass notes. They can help with dimming though...

Ideally, you wouldn't use a current hog of an amp. And despite the marketing department's best efforts, Class D amps are not efficient in practice. What I mean by that is they're no more efficient than some Class AB's at normal listening volumes. It's at max volume and who knows what distortion level where the Class D amp is most efficient at. Listen to your music at max volume much?

Not group think. Im well aware of the fact that they can filter noise out. However if you install your gear properly and tune properly you should never need one.
