help choosing a sub for a kicker kx2500.1 mono amp

ok so i get new sub/subs 12" re or ssx 15" or one 18" and keep the kx850.4 for mids and highs
neither of those options oher than keeping the 850.4. Only shop for subs when you know your max dimensions. You buy subs based on how much cubic feet of airspace you have, not what you feel like it would work.

So before discussing anything. PULL OUT A TAPE MEASURE AND GET THE Depth x Width x Height

whats the best deaf bonce re or dc can you help me pick from this site i will have credit ther HiFiSoundconnection - Results for re
As i said earlier, we are not getting anywhere unless you measure your cargo area. IF you want answers, dont disregard are requests. Without knowing how much airspace you have, you cant really choose the best subwoofer for your setup because you will either not have enough airspace OR you could have gone bigger to maximize the airspace.

Not gonna respond anymore unless i see some Measurements on your end bud.

i put it in post #15
thank you for your help
Sorry I guess didn't see that earlier, OKAY cool we got something to work with

out of those choices on that site, i'd do two RE SXX 18s D2 and wire them series to get a 2 ohm load.

You can definitely make two 18s work

Here is a sample box design It'll be bottom slot port.

i think it might cost alot maybe half that size so i tried this

what size box do you suggest for the kicker l7's i wired the kicker compvr 12" and the l7's i 4 dvc 4 ohm wired them to 2ohms final load and they slam! just what i wanted i think there getting a lil underpowered like 800w under rms but its perfect

are those 18s the best for the 550.00 or is there another choice i can buy from anywhere now cash in hand >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>just added 18"s are on there way ! =)

hello all so i got the 2 sub boxes talk about heavy 90 lbs each 1" mdf the brow stuff so i have some pictures to show my progress

i used a 3/4 inch mdf for the sub instead of sheetrock screwd i used 1/4" bolts with countersunk bottoms and washers so it would screw to the box flush

i got 2 from here totals like 42 inches wide together
