I was playing a long bass song earlier by young jeezy. the bass was loud and everything for the 1st 5mins then i started switching through Cds for differnt songs i popped in a Cd and played the same song and it didn't sound as loud as the 1st time 5mins earlier that i played. could that be my amp ******* to munch current out of my battery? i have a stock batt and aLt.

ok i just finished playing the same song and it did the same thing 5-6 mins later?

Thanks.

Let someone else with more experience help but that would be my guess in the bold.

Knukonceptz has great budget amp kits.

EDIT: Maybe order 1/0 gauge for the big 3.

it doesnt work like that...

amplitude.

35hz recorded at -3db on one track, will be louder than 35hz recorded at -7db on another track, regardless if "all of his shit is deep". why do you think we use -3 or -6, or 0db reference sine waves to set gains? you're trying to match the gain using those tracks to what is normally used in whatever type of music you listen to

im willing to bet if you popped in the same thing you played 5 minutes ago it would, again, be louder than what you just listened too...

Go back and play the same part of the same song. That's the only way to know. Differernt songs with different bass notes will all sound different. Your system is not perfectly flat either, so your system will naturally play different notes louder or softer.

The only way to know is to go back to the same recording, and play it again. That's called a "refrence".

This is why when you go to different stereo stores to listen to speakers you take one CD with you that you know well. That way the only variable is the speaker systems your listening to. It's difficult to judge different speakers with different recordings.
