Heard Type R..GAH!

Heard a Single Type R 12", in a .8cf sealed and in a 1.4cf sealed. didn't get loud at all, and didnt produce low bass notes at all, hardly audible. had a tx1505d on it, giving it about 750w rms.. not sure what the hype is about these, but they're nothin special, at least in sealed..ported may be another story. no comparison at all to my pg ti12's

Probably not, i could probably moan lower bass notes than the Type R could.

dont base ya view from that setup,lol. hear 1 ported and maybe u'll be shocked and see wha the hype is about. type r sealed=pooo. ported the would walk all over ya ti's. find a good install and then post

Maybe because it was in a tiny *** sealed box?

Like i've said a MILLION times, they are a ported box subwoofer and sound like crap sealed.

I'm sure they sounded better ported, i was just commening on them for sealed. Just verifying your information tommy . When we get them ported, i will be sure to let you know.

idk, tell me. juss wanna kno how can u make a comment like that if u dont kno wha they are capable of. im tired of replies like that. if u havent heard em and have nuthin decent 2 say, dont comment and yes i have. i have 2 buddies of mine runnin em seald and the other ported. they are nice for the price, but i honestly say they dont compare and they agree, reason y they will soon be runnin type R

And 1.4, sounded a little muddy with the 1.4, actually prefered the .8 a tad better.
