And by open face sandwiches you mean just make a regular sandwich and only use one slice of bread?
I also got into the habbit of eating up to a cup of non fat cottage cheese before I go to sleep. Apparently it slows down or reverses the process your body does when you sleep wich eats your muscle tissue instead of fat tissue.
