I have been somewhat searching around lately for a good deal on an ipod. I noticed refurbished 8 gig 4th gen nanos are only 99 shipped straight from the apple store which seems like a very nice deal. I mainly want an ipod to use in my car for music/video playback. I have about 4-5 gigs of music right now that is slowly growing. Do you think i should just give in and buy one already and if so where will give me the best deal?

Ya itouches are cool but this will be used 95% of the time in my car through my head unit. I was thinking either a nano for the cheap price or a 5th gen or classic for all the storage just looking for opinions and places to get good deals.

If you have the usb inputs most any mp3 player will work and also give all the readouts, I have the deh-p5100 and mostly use my rca mp3 player cause its splash resistant and was cheap sound wise can't tell any difference between it and my i-pod, just my 2 pennies

Why is the average iPos touch only 8gb?? Am I looking at it wrong, or does it use a different file type that is much smaller?? Seems for the price and being only 8gb it dont hold much.. What am I missing?
