HDC3 15" Design

How does this look for a single HDC3 15" off of 1800-2000w? And will 16.5" be tall enough for the sub in the box? Or can I make it 16", because I'm not sure if I'll have enough clearance to fit in my trunk. If you got any suggestions let me know or if you can whip up a quick design for it.

Should be around 4.5 cubes @ 38hz after displacement.

16" tall is no problem. Reduce the port width to give you 72^2 "assuming" this is a daily box...

and if you do 16^2 of port per net cube then your port should be 18" long for 38Hz tuning...

i like more port area. i usually do 16-20 for daily and 25-30 for spl. more port is good sometimes. that design looks nice man and should workgreat

Made the height 16". So is 19^2 per cube ok for daily?

I've done DD's with 20^2 and my current wall with HDC's is 18^2 and both work fine for daily. Port is still too long though...

But isn't it like 19.2^2 of port area right now? Unless I'm doing it wrong. If someone could make a quick design that would be easier than me ****in around in the RE calc cause I can't change port length. Width can be 30-34", Depth 20-25", Height 16"

don't have my spec sheet at work as I could tell you the port lenth for 19^2 to tune to 38Hz. Will try to post it up late tonight when I get home...
