Have questions about some car audio products

Hello everyone

So recently I started to purchase parts for my audio system. As I recall the last system I put together had an EQ because I love being able to have full range of how my speakers sound. So... keeping in the same thought process as before I looked for an EQ. I found a few but was really interested in this one (due to the multiple rca outs).

And... when I was looking at the aforementioned EQ, there was an ad for the product below. It was inexpensive and it had good reviews. Anyone have any experience with this Boss bass generator?

I'd stay away from boss products if I was you ;-) The Clarion EQS746 is also in that price range as well

Don't mess around with anything but an Audiocontrol Epicenter for digi bass restoration processor, many TRY to compare & most do NOT...

I won't mess with anything but audiocontrol products for signal processing or eq's, just came across that when I was looking at the nvx - similar price, thought it might be worth comparing that's all ;-)

The 1/2 DIN style equalizer hangs on yet today after decades. I used to have one in my first couple of systems, when I had no clue of how to use it. All I really used it for was the bass level knob. Now you can get 7 band graphic EQ or 5 band parametric EQ in a wide range of head units. Subwoofer control is typically built in as well. Is it the convenience of having knobs to turn that you like about those equalizers?

I would skip any kind of bass generating processor unless you're prepared to work your subwoofer, amplifier, and charging system very hard.

The last EQ I ever ran was a Kenwood KGC-7043 - It was a full din though... 11 band eq with like 4 preset-able buttons on the face, hi pass x-over, sub level control, sprectrum analyzer with like 6 different modes, and you could change the illumination color... That thing was sweet, I kind of miss it... I might still have it some place in my shop... I'm gonna go rummaging through my relics now lol

i'll do $50 shipped and its still in very good working condition I just tested it 2 weeks ago, because somebody was going to buy it but it wont fit on where he wanted to install it so the sale never went thru
