Sundown Zv3 motors/basket mounting

Alright guys I bought a pair of Zv3 motors and when they arrived I noticed they both have black rings that are secured to the top plate. The basket mounting bolts go thru them. The issue is one of the rings is larger in diameter than the other. One ring reaches the end of the top plate where it begins to taper down. The other ring does not. Does anyone know why there is a difference? And will it effect mounting baskets in any way?

it is just a vented spacer the height is the same. there is a bigger 1 for the 18" must just been a goof. it wont effect how it performs or how it plays at all //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I knew the spacer was same thickness/height and figured it was something like that. But nice to hear it from someone else as well. Thanks man.
