Has anyone here taken the LSAT for law school?

so come to Nova, ball it up, be in the top of the class, and get some big offers from firms in FTL and MIA. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
it just feels like a huge risk banking on the chance that ill be on top of my class. I know law school is hard as all hell, and I have no idea what i am in for. For all I know, i might have to bust my balls just to pass. Its just huge risks everywhere for me at this point. If i retake the LSAT, i risk having to take a year off that i could be going to law school with and being a lawyer 1 year earlier, and i might not even do any better. I also risk now getting rejected from everywhere I want to go. So risks all around for me right now. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

IMO get to law school ASAP. You are totally right...you could be the top of the class at Yale, yet somehow be at the bottom at Nova. It is all relevent to how much effort you put in. Apply and see...if you wait it is a wasted year IMO.

yea, which is why im gonna try to apply to a wide range of places. Ill apply to BC and BU just as super insane reaches just for the hell of it. Then UC Hastings/davis, Rutgers camden, U of miami, u of florida. Ill apply all over basically. Ill only retake the LSAT if i am completely unhappy with where i got into.

I totally forgot about Miami. They have a good law school top 80 I believe. Apply and good things will happen. Once school I got into offered me a free plane ticket and hotel to come check out the school. Remember apply to "lock" schools too. Sometimes they become the best option.

can you still get a near 6 figure salary (like 75k or above) from graduatiing from a top 100?

I'm not the end all be all...but its so dependent on each situation. Like you stated..if your not at the top top schools dont get crazy about it. My dad graduated from Dayton Ohio law school and now makes well in the 6 figures. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif It's what you make of it.
